AP poised to be regional aviation hub | CM
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that Andhra Pradesh was well-positioned to emerge as an aviation hub with Vijayawada (Gannavaram) airport registering an impressive growth in passenger traffic. The other two major airports at Visakhapatnam and Tirupati were also making rapid strides.

Gannavaram Airport to get new terminal
The much-awaited expansion of Gannavaram airport, which is proposed to be developed with international standards, will become a reality soon with Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju directing the officials to complete works pertaining to development of a new terminal and lounges by April 30.
