A default notice has been issued to Pink City Expressway company, the developer of Gurgaon-Jaipur highway, by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for not completing the work in time and poor maintenance even after the end of the 60-day deadline for remedial measures.

NHAI gives 6 months time to firm to complete Jaipur eway
Cautioning over the delay in completion of work on the 225-km-long Gurgaon-Jaipur stretch of National Highway-8, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has given the concessionaire firm, Pink City Expressway, about six monthsĆā time to complete the project. Tightening the noose on the concessionaire firm, the NHAI has fixed December 31, 2013 as the deadline for completing all the flyovers and service roads where acquisition of land is not an issue.
