New civil aviation policy in advanced stage
The proposed new civil aviation policy is under an advanced stage of preparation and the draft will be placed in the public domain for eliciting opinions, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati said in mid-September.The ministry will place the draft on the internet and seek suggestions and opinions from the public.

Panel for Air India´s performance
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government plans to set up an expert panel to find ways to improve Air India´s performance but presently no proposal is being considered for its privatisation, said Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati.
