UP’s 2nd budget of Rs 3,619 cr to fund infra projects
To fund infrastructure projects in the state like Lucknow Metro, Agra-Lucknow Expressway and rural electrification, the Uttar Pradesh government on December 10 tabled the current year's second supplementary budget of Rs 3,619.76 crore. UP firm on road widening project in Varanasi

Kalpi Road in Kanpur to be reconstructed soon
The Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned work order for reconstruction of Kalpi Road (National Highway -25) Kanpur between Jarib Chauky and Vijay Nagar Crossing. Historic Kalpi Road connects Kanpur to Jhansi and is a part of the National Highway -25. The State Public Works Department (PWD) in Kanpur had sent a proposal in this regard to its headquarter.
