The Uttar Pradesh government said it has proposed round-the-clock power supply, except for tube-wells, at all places in the state after 2019.
´After 2019, 24-hour power supply is proposed at all places except for tube-wells. As per vision-2016, it has been decided to ensure 24 hour power supply in big cities, 22 hour in district headquarters, 16 hours in tehsil and rural areas from October 2016,´ state Power Minister Yasir Shah said.
