Rs 1,760 cr World Bank’s aid for Assam road project
For improving secondary road network in Assam, the India's north-eastern state, the World Bank on November 5 signed an agreement with the Central and Assam governments to provide $320 million, around Rs 1,760 crore.

The Union and Assam governments on November 5 entered into a $320 million agreement with the World Bank for State roads project. The loan and project agreements were signed by the Centre, Assam government and World Bank in New Delhi, an official statement here said.
WB funds for Kerala roads
The World Bank is to provide more funds for road development in Kerala. The Bank has already committed its aid to the second phase of the Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP).
