National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced that the Unit 1 of 660 MW Sipat Super Thermal Power Project has been commissioned. With this, the total capacity of NTPC group has become 34,854 MW. This is the first super-critical 660 MW unit of NTPC which has been added to the capacity.
