The investment further reinforces TVS ILP’s presence in Tamil Nadu and is aligned with its strategy to expand across high‑growth industrial markets.
TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), India’s first Grade‑A warehousing developer, had signed a ₹10 billion MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu for upcoming projects across the state. The proposed investment was expected to create about 1,500 jobs and strengthen the industrial and logistics infrastructure supporting businesses and supply chains statewide.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, and Industries Minister, S Keerthana, during the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. The conclave brought together investment commitments across key sectors and districts, highlighting the state’s focus on accelerating industrial development and employment generation.
Commenting on the development, Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said Tamil Nadu remained a key market for the company, with ten industrial and logistics parks already established in the state serving leading brands across e‑commerce, automobile, fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) and fast‑moving consumer durables (FMCD).
“Our ₹10 billion investment reflects the opportunities we see emerging across the state and our intent to be a tech‑enabled infrastructure partner to businesses expanding their operations here. We will continue to focus on developing assets that meet global standards while remaining responsive to the evolving requirements of occupiers. Through this approach, we aim to support businesses as they expand and contribute to the next phase of industrial growth across the state,” he said.
The continued expansion of industrial activity across Tamil Nadu has been driving demand for modern, strategically located infrastructure to support businesses at different stages of growth. As the state advances its ambition to become a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036, the availability of Grade‑A industrial and logistics parks will be critical to enabling new capacity, improving supply‑chain efficiency and supporting enterprises across emerging growth centres.
The investment further reinforces TVS ILP’s presence in Tamil Nadu to align with its broader strategy of expanding its portfolio across high‑growth industrial markets.
