UP New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) is all set to install rooftop grid-interactive solar power plant at government and private buildings. The project for installation of a 70 kw rooftop grid interactive solar power plant is ongoing at the Vikas Bhawan building. This is being done at a cost of Rs.49 lakh. Once complete, a 30 kw rooftop solar plant, worth around Rs.21 lakh, will be installed at the Collectorate building.
