Vikram Solar, a leading solar energy solutions provider, has successfully commissioned a rooftop solar plant with 750 kWp capacity at Calicut International Airport. The project was implemented under the MNRE scheme of setting up of grid connected solar rooftop project under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission. This is Vikram Solar´s second such rooftop installation at an international airport in India, after the 100 kWp installation at Cochin International Airport. The 750 kWp project is expected to reduce 823 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
