Ensuring an economic and purposeful use of the alloted land, the High Level Land Allotment Committee led by AP Padhi, Chief Secretary has approved the allotment of 71 acre of land to 38 investment projects in various sectors. These 38 projects are said to bring an investment of Rs 5.08 billion and employment of 4,479 persons. For the establishment of manufacturing units in sectors like vegetable and oil refinery, instant pasta, vermicelli and sweet potato, manufacturing boats, launches, barges tugs, chemical tanks machine conveners, seeds processing, CRGO and LT control panel, garments, packaged drinking water, food products, ice, UPVC doors and windows, sea food processing, steel furniture, street lighting equipments, automobile, medicine, sanitary napkins, stainless steel utensils, fly-ash brick, etc. 71 acre of land is allotted to the industrial estates of Khordha, Chhatabar, Analapatna, Deras, Mancheswar, Rasulgarh, Andharua, Janala and Bhagabanpur.
