The Minister of State (I/C) in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, said that to increase domestic exploration, the government has taken several policy measures such as New Exploration Licensing Policy, Coal Bed Methane Policy, and Shale Gas/Oil policy on Geo Scientific data generation for hydrocarbons. Various measures are being taken including improved oil recovery/enhanced oil recovery activities, well stimulation & field re-development.
