India and Egypt have signed an agreement on maritime transport following delegation-level talks between PM Modi and visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. ´Stepping up co-operation on the seas. Agreement on Maritime Transport between India and Egypt,´ External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted. Sisi arrived on a three-day visit to India at the invitation of President Mukherjee. This is the first presidential visit from Egypt to India since the visit of then President Mohamed Morsi.
