India, Vietnam sign pact on oil & gas cooperation
ONGC Videsh (OVL), and the Vietnam oil and gas group PetroVietnam (PV) have signĂÂed an agreement on cooperation in the field of oil and gas. The framework agreement was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, who was on a visit to India.
GAIL pipeline to supply gas to Sindri plant
Gas Authority of India's (GAIL) pipeline from Jagdishpur in Uttar Pradesh to Haldia in West Bengal via Jharkhand is going to be a boon for the closed Sindri fertiliser factory, other industries and domestic consumers on the line.
