UP becomes first state in India to have rapid rail system
Uttar Pradesh will be the first state in India to have a rapid rail system during the first implementation of RRTS. The first corridor network for the rapid rail will be connecting Delhi and Meerut. The plan was presented by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
MahaMetro to build sub-station in Pimpri
In order to power the Pimpri- Swargate Metro rail corridor, the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (MahaMetro) will be building a 25.7 MW traction and sub-station (TSS) in Pimpri.
NMMT to set up 18 charging stations and 30 electric buses
30 battery operated electric buses and 18 bus charging stations were approved by the civic transport wing committee. Under the Bharatmala project, roads and highways measuring a total of 950 km will be developed in Chhattisgarh. The Central Government had already declared 290.08 km of road as new national highways during FY 2017-18.
