Gamesa wins 100-MW wind power project from Hero Group
Renewable energy firm Gamesa has bagged a 100-MW wind power project from Hero Group to set up 50 wind turbines in Madhya Pradesh. The order was placed by Hero Future Energies, a venture of the Hero Group catering to the renewable energy, Gamesa India said in a statement.

The Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) would be going for installation and commissioning of a ĆāPico Hydro Power PlantĆĀ“ at Village Muttu in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. The location of the water source for the power plant had been chosen at the left flank of Sogra Nala near Mutu Village in Jashpur district.
PGCIL lowest bidder for Rs.6,300-cr Vemagiri II proj
Power Grid Corporation Ltd (PGCIL) has emerged as the lowest bidder for Vemagiri II power transmission project of around Rs.6,300 crore in a tariff-based auction. For Vemagiri II project, PGCIL has bid very aggressively and quoted Rs.359 crore annual tariff per annum followed by Sterlite Grid (Rs.429.05 crore), Essel (Rs.459 crore) and Adani (Rs.585 crore).
