People demand to execute 3-road project in Tripunithura

In Kerala, residents of Tripunithura Municipality in Ernakulam district have sought the implementation of three-road development project proposed by the municipality to prevent petroleum and other bullet tankers from using the busy roads. According to the local people, the proposals to widening the Mamala-Chithrapuzha Bund Road (from Thiruvankulam to Manakkapadi via Kochi-Madurai bypass) and the Manakkapadi-Vyttila Road (via Eroor and Kaniyampuzha) must be taken up on priority basis.

Kerala government is committed to set up IndiaÂ’s first low-cost private airport in the stateÂ’s Aranmula town despite opposition from some corners, said the State Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on July 16 in Thiruvananthapuram.
