Bharat Heavy Electricals has won an order worth Rs 3,220 crore for supply and installation of the main plant package for the Sagardighi Thermal Power Project Stage-II in West Bengal. BHEL would be responsible for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators and boilers. The company would also execute Controls & Instrumentation (C&I), Switchyard and civil works for the main plant package.
