Maharashtra government was mulling over scrapping the Worli-Haji Ali sea link project, work on which is slated to start on 1 April. Alternately, a coastal road along the stretch is being proposed, which will cost Rs 500 crore compared to the sea link’s Rs 4,500 crore.
