HCC bags DMRC contract

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) in joint venture (JV) with Samsung C&T has been awarded a contract worth Rs 866 crore by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for design and construction of 4.4 km long tunnel on Janakpuri West-Kalindi Kunj Corridor under Phase III of the metro development. This is the fifth contract being awarded to HCC by DMRC. HCC and Samsung are 50:50 partners in the joint venture and HCC is the leader of the JV. The project will be completed in 39 months.
