Madhya Pradesh has readied its blueprint for the Rs.4000 crore worth Green Energy Corridor project spearheaded by Power Grid Corporation (PGCIL), as next the five years would add another 6,000 MW of renewable energy projects in its installed capacity. This will also include a mega solar power project of 750 MW capacity, reports the Business Standard. The report says that German development Bank KfW has already tied up for a loan with the Centre for the project. The first phase of the project will be of `2,100 crore. KfW will give 40 per cent, while another 40 per cent of the project will come from the Central Clean Energy Fund Grant and the rest 20 per cent will be contributed by Madhya Pradesh.
