The request for quotation (RFQ) for the proposed international airport in North Goa´s Mopa village has been finalised by a steering committee led by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. Mopa international airport project has drawn opposition from certain sections in South Goa upon fears that an airport in North Goa would adversely affect the tourism industry in their district.
