The Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways plans to conduct road shows abroad to attract foreign firms to take up projects in India as road developers in the country staying away from bidding for road projects.
11 firms apply for developing Ennore Port terminal
For developing Rs 1,270-crore container terminal at Ennore Port in Tamil Nadu, 11 companies, including four foreign firms, have submitted their Requests for Qualification (RFQ) proposals. These proposals will be evaluated by Ennore Port authorities and the names of short-listed firms announced within the next two weeks. Thursday was the last date for submitting the proposals for developing the Ennore Container Terminal (ECT).
