Tata Technologies, a Tata group’s design and engineering arm is all set to enter sectors such as energy including oil & gas, medical devices and telecom.
With this plan the company is entering into more niche segment in this arena, a senior company official said.
"We are planning to cater our services to medical devices, energy and telecom soon. These are the areas we were looking for some time and now finally we are entering in this arena," said Samir Yajnik, president, global services and chief operating officer (Asia Pacific), Tata Technologies, said in an interaction with Infrastructure Today.
Tata Technologies with focus on aerospace, automotive and industrial segments, is also considering entering the Chinese market soon.
"We are also considering to enter China as they opened up now. We are also finding it an opportunity to cater services to our clients in China," he added.
Singapore headquartered Tata technologies have presence in 25 countries including US, India and UK. The company has a combined global workforce of more than 6,300 employees serving clients worldwide.
