TN proposes ring road for Salem to cut accidents

The Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Sarvey Satyanarayana has said that to check the number of accidents in Salem city, a proposal to build a ring road, about 60 km long, has been made by the Tamil Nadu government.

He informed this to the Parliament on April 22. Sathyanarayana told the Lok Sabha that the proposal had been received from the Tamil Nadu government under the National Highway Development Programme.
