The Uttar Pradesh government has been suggested on the renovation exercise of Kaiserbagh in Lucknow. The British Indian Association has made some suggestions and asked the government to repair worn out roads of the area, especially Raja Ahmad Ali Marg and the road between Butler Park and Baradari. Road running behind Baradari has been encroached by bus owners and horse-cart pullers who park buses and tie horses on roadsides obstructing the traffic.
The association has also demanded regular cleaning of drains. Association’s president and state agriculture minister Raja Anand Singh said the road between Raja Rampal Singh Park and public library had been closed for public commuting. The road should be opened for public use as it has a famous library and also serves as a major route in the city.
Parks like Raja Rampal Singh Park and Butler Park, which have been transferred to the Lucknow Development Authority, are in extremely poor condition. The association complained that despite repeated reminders, LDA was not repairing the parks. The park infrastructure is gradually deteriorating due to poor maintenance.
