The third phase of the Delhi Metro network is apparently getting embroiled in controversy regarding its funding. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) was preparing the detailed project report (DPR) for the third phase, which pegs the cost at Rs 28,000 crore, and the state government wants the cost should be borne by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
