In order to give adequate compensation for land acquisition, Haryana government is preparing a land pool scheme. As per the scheme, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) would compensate land owners whose land is acquired for the development of a residential sector in the form of developed plots. In case of land being acquired for developing an industrial estate, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) will compensate the land loser.
