Under its Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned a loan of 115 crore to the Goa government for construction of one rural bridge.
The planned bridge will connect Camurlim and Tuem across River Chapora in North Goa and it will be built at an estimated cost Rs 143.53 crore. The project will be implemented by Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC). This is the first new sanction under RIDF by Nabard for Goa during the financial year 2013-14.
