KEC International Secures First Data Centre Line Order in ₹1.18 Billion Wins

With these wins, the company’s yeartodate order intake has crossed ₹5.2 billion, reflecting strong traction across T&D, renewables, civil and cables.

RPG Group company and leading EPC player KEC International Ltd., has announced new orders worth ₹1.18 billion across its transmission & distribution (T&D), renewables, civil, and cables businesses.

The T&D business has secured projects across India, the Middle East and the Americas. These include a 400 kV transmission line project in Western India to power a data centre, supply of transmission line towers in the Middle East, and supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.

In renewables, the company has won an order for a 200‑plus MW solar PV project in Western India from an existing client described as “a renowned private developer.”

In the civil segment, KEC has secured additional civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant from a prominent private player in Eastern India. The cables business has also bagged multiple orders in India and overseas.

Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & CEO, KEC International Ltd., said, “The T&D business has secured its first transmission line order for the evacuation of power to a data centre from a reputed private developer. This order marks an important milestone for the T&D business in supporting the power infrastructure needs of the growing data centre segment.”

He added that the company has strengthened its tower supply business with a significant order from the Middle East, while the award of the large solar project reflects the strength of its renewables portfolio.

With these wins, the company’s year‑to‑date order intake stands at over ₹5.2 billion.
