In Pune, the Air Force Station (AFS), Lohegaon, has asked the Pune airport authorities to provide proper coordinates and survey details of a seven-acre private plot that the latter had identified for an air cargo complex. The plot is located near the newly developed vehicle parking lot outside the airport premises.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), custodians of the security at DelhiĆās IGI airport, have found several glaring faults with the perimeter intrusion detection system (PIDS) Ćā touted as a state-of-the-art mechanism to secure the airportĆās boundaries. Plea to relocate airport slum-dwellers to rehab building
Activists have demanded the relocation of the residents of Beryl Pereira Compound, Kurla, after a third land slide incident in the area in a month. Nicholas Almeida, convenor, Watchdog Foundation said there was a landslide on June 27 due to heavy downpour and then again a week later. On July 10 there was a third landslide at the same location.

Airport befits religious tourist spot Kurukshetra
