Plea to clear hindrances in elevated expressway in Chennai
The Tamil Nadu government should take steps to remove obstacles in the completion of the stalled Chennai Port - Maduravoyal Elevated Expressway, DMK and PMK parties in the state have demanded. Bihar highways to be upgraded at $300 mn ADB loan
To upgrade 254 kilometres of highways, which are in a very bad condition in northern and southern Bihar, the Union government has signed an agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for $300 million additional loan. The additional financing for the ongoing Bihar State Highways-II Project will widen the sections of existing four highways to two lanes, build and maintain bridges and repair the pavements.

Uniform toll policy prevails in country: Minister
There is a uniform policy for levying and collection of user toll for highways in the country, said Sarvey Sathyanarayana, the Minister of State of Road Transport and Highways in Lok Sabha recently.
