Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited said its Managing Director Prakash Tulsiani has stepped down from the post to pursue other career opportunities and the company has identified his successor. ´Prakash Tulsiani has resigned as Managing Director and as a Director with effect from May 31 to pursue other career opportunities,´ the company said in a filing to the BSE.
It said Tulsiani´s successor has been identified by Gujarat Pipavav´s promoter APM Terminals and the details would be made public on completion of appointment formalities. The company appreciated Tulsiani for´his hard and dedicated work towards a successful startup of the container terminal at Pipavav and the company´s turnaround´ on behalf of its Board of Directors and APM Terminals. Tulsiani had joined APM Terminals Organisation as Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Terminals India Private Ltd in 2005.
