Illegal structures removed along Mumbai-Agra h’way
The Nashik Municipal Corporation's (NMC) anti-encroachment department has removed illegal structures on the Mumbai-Agra highway on November 14. Food and tea stalls, and other illegal structures along the highway were removed by the civic body with the help of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the city police.
NMC okays Rs 150 cr worth road works for Nashik
Ten road works worth Rs 150 crore have been approved in Nashik city by the Nashik Municipal Corporation on October 29. The proposals include development of the inner ring road in the city from Nilgiri Bag to Agartakali Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to Saikheda road at a cost of Rs 8.76 crore.

For various road works in Nashik city, such as tarring, resurfacing, macadamization, etc, the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has invited bids worth Rs 10.7 crore. The tenders include around 28 various road works in various parts of the city. The road contracts are to be done through private contractors and the last date for filing the bids is next October 3.
Resurfacing to 15 roads in Nashik
In Nashik city, 15 major roads will be resurfaced soon. The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) on August 22 approved a proposal in this regard. The NMC had proposed to resurface the 15 roads after the monsoon and has finalised private contractors for the road work. NMC Standing committee chairman Ramesh Dhongade said that the committee approved the proposal to resurface the 15 roads at a cost of around Rs 14 crore.
Road repairs to be completed soon in Nashik’s MIDC area
Road repairs have been taken up by the Nashik Municipal Corporation in the city's Ambad industrial estate. The works were to be completed before the commencement of the monsoon, according to Suresh Mali, the president of the Ambad Industries and Manufacturers Association (AIMA). Deputy engineer PH Pathade at the Nashik Municipal Corporation's Cidco Divisional Office said that the civic body had recently invited bids worth Rs 86 lakh to undertake the road repair works in the Maharashtra industria

The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to take up the work on the first ring road under its jurisdiction. The civic body has decided to the start the process of inviting tenders on its own and the actual work is expected to begin after the monsoon. The project will be executed under the deferred payment scheme due to paucity of funds.
