In the first quarter, the Tarapur Atomic Power Station (TAPS) contributed 33 per cent of the total atomic power generated in the country. Since its commissioning, TAPS has generated a total of 121,141 million units (mus) of power till June end 2012. The plant has generated a total of 2,780 mus of power during the April-June period this year, while the countryÃĒâŽâĒs total atomic power generation from all the stations totalled up to 8,412 mus.
