Welspun Enterprises Ltd (WEL), a subsidiary of Welspun Group, will expand its operations in the infrastructure sector by acquiring two road projects from Delhi-based MBL Infrastructures Ltd (MBL).
WEL will acquire a 49 per cent stake in two National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) awarded Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) projects from MBL. These projects are — a four-laning of Chutmalpur-Ganeshpur section of NH-72A in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarkhand and four laning of Gagalheri-Saharanpur-Yamunanagar section of NH-73 in UP.
