Kerala government hopes to complete the Kannur airport project on schedule as it has secured land for the project from Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (KINFRA).
The first phase of the project would be completed by 2014 and the first flight is expected to land at Kannur airport in 2015. Tenders would be floated in April for the construction of the runway.
