With his dedication, strong work conviction and meticulous approach towards achieving his goal, Dr Santosh Sundararajan became the CEO of Vascon Engineers in November 2011. He has around 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector.
Dr Sundararajan served as the President of Projects at Vascon Engineers until 10 November 2011 and was responsible for all operations across North and South zones in India. Apart from the current role as CEO of Vascon, he is also directly responsible for a few other group companies focusing on engineering and structural design.
Prior to joining Vascon, Dr Sundararajan was working with Buro Engineers Pte Ltd at Singapore where he supervised junior engineers and operations of the Indian office along with the designing of RCC structures (multi-storey and large span buildings).
He graduated from National University of Singapore in Civil Engineering with First Class Honours and majored in Structural Engineering. After completing his graduation, he cleared first level of CFA in June 2002. Furthermore, he has completed Masters in Financial Management from the University of London followed by a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Structural Engineering (Impact mechanics, High strength materials, Design for dynamic loading) from National University of Singapore.
After completing his graduation Dr Sundararajan worked with Dragages at Singapore as a Senior Site Engineer and with Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd at Singapore as a Senior Design Engineer. Dr Sundararajan also has to his credit various awards like National Talent Search Scholarship (India) and has won Silver in the Engineering Colours Awards (ECA)Æs at National University of Singapore (NUS).
