Navi Mumbai Mayor Sagar Naik has asked the officials concerned to expedite the road repair works in the city areas including Belapur. Residents had expressed their anger over the delay in the road repair works, despite the end of the rainy season.
Due to water and sewerage pipeline works the roads in Navi Mumbai satellite city have turned bad. The pipeline works affected the interior roads, which have limited load-carrying capacity.
The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is committed to provide world class infrastructure to its residents, said the Mayor.
