GE proposes to invest Rs.3,000 crore in Maharashtra

US-based General Electric (GE) has proposed to invest Rs 3,000 crore in Maharashtra during a meeting with State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the World Economic Forum meet in Davos. GE Vice President John Rice announced this after his meeting with Fadnavis at Davos during the annual World Economic Forum, a press release issued by the CMO has said. The company will manufacture high capacity platform turbines, the release said.
