The agreement allows Air India passengers to reach Taipei via shared gateways in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur. In return, STARLUX passengers gain seamless access to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru through the same transit points.
Indian flag carrier Air India has entered into an interline partnership with Taiwan-based STARLUX Airlines, expanding travel options for passengers across Asia and offering streamlined access to Taipei via key Southeast Asian hubs.
The agreement enables single-ticket itineraries that combine flights from both carriers, allowing coordinated baggage handling and smoother connections. Air India customers can now reach Taipei through shared gateways in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur. In return, STARLUX passengers gain seamless access to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru via the same transit points.
“This partnership with STARLUX Airlines aligns with our commitment to delivering premium experiences while inviting global travellers to explore India’s vibrant cities through our full-service network,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.
Founded on the philosophy that luxury should be accessible to all, STARLUX Airlines operates over 30 international routes from Taiwan, including destinations in the US, Japan, Southeast Asia and beyond. Known for its boutique service model and safety-first approach, the airline brings a high-end travel experience to the interline arrangement.
Bookings are now open via travel agents and will be progressively available on Air India’s website and mobile app.
The partnership comes amid Air India’s ongoing transformation under the Vihaan.AI programme, which includes fleet expansion, infrastructure upgrades and the consolidation of its group airlines.
