Nayachar channel to aid Haldia port
As part of long-term measures to improve navigability at Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) in West Bengal, the Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) proposes to cut a channel right through the Nayachar island. Container traffic dips in Seattle, Tacoma ports
