J&K CM asks agencies for completion of projects in time
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on June 11 asked the State's executing agencies to stick to time bound completion of development projects including those of flyovers, roads and bridges. NHAI says 70% land available for NH31D four-laning
The data by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) shows that nearly 70 per cent of the land required for four-laning NH31D is already available, but because of land problems, 327 hectares has not been acquired yet. NHAI has given the data to the Union Ministry of Economic Affairs for action. The total land required to make the highway four-lane is 1,072 hectares (2,648 acres), NHAI said.
