Entry, exit to Pune’s airport changed to facilitate road work
In Pune, the traffic police have made temporary changes in the entry and exit points for vehicles at the Lohegaon airport. In Jammu and Kashmir, work on two vital bridges namely, Wussan and Ramwari Gund would commence this year. These bridges on completion would provide road connectivity to a large population living in the hilly areas of Kangan constituency, said the State Minister for Forests Ecology and Environment, Mian Altaf Ahmad. To improve the road connectivity in the area, detailed project reports (DPRs) of seven roads have been prepared and will be sent to the Union Government for funding.

Kerala to build 28 major roads at Rs 10,000 cr
The Kerala government is to construct 28 major roads in the state at a cost of Rs 10,000 crore, said the State Chief Minister Oommen Chandy recently. Each road would be constructed as a special project and talks were on to finalise the details of the new roads, half of which were coming up in the Malabar region, Chandy said.
