NHPC completes Teesta hydro project
State-run NHPCĂ´s 160 MW Teesta Low Dam IV hydro project in Darjeeling has become fully operational. The 40 MW Unit-4 of the project has become commercially operational. Three units of the TLDP-IV project were commissioned on February 14, March 31 and July 1 this year.
