The government has is preparing the feasibility study for Delhi-Jaipur Expressway project. It will be too early to state about likely time of completion at this stage. Kozhikode Corporation gets Rs 54 lakh for road repairs
The Kozhikode Corporation has been granted Rs 54 lakh by the Kerala government for immediate repair and restoration of roads within the Corporation purview and rural limits of the district. The government on July 23 had allotted the sum in two orders to repair eight roads in the Kozhikode Corporation area and five in high-range areas of Thiruvambady, Koodaranji, Karassery, Kodiyathoor and Puthupadi within the district.
Balipara-Tawang road to be upgraded to NHDL grade
In Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, Balipara-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) road, with a total length 317.52 km, is under improvement to National Highway Double Lane (NHDL) specifications. Out of this 116.89 Km length has been improved so far. Work is in progress in 84.63 km length and work is yet to start in 116 Km of length. GMR aims to reduce current debt through sale of road toll projects
GMR Infrastructure is likely to sell four road toll projects between Hyderabad and Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh. The company aims to raise Rs 1,500 crore through the sale of these road assets.
Six road projects in Manipur to be funded by ADB
Asian Development Bank (ADB) has sanctioned Rs 1,800 crore for development of roads and bridges in Manipur. The proposal for development of six roads has been sent to ADB. Some of these road project include 110-km long Imphal-Moreh Road on NH-2; 85-km long road from Imphal to Wangjing, Heirok and Khudengthabi; 34-km long ring road in Greater Imphal and road from Imphal to Kangchup.
GHMC: Road repair works is on
GHMC Commissioner MT Krishna Babu has said that so far about 60 percent of road repair works is done. The roads got damaged due to heavy rains in the last couple of weeks. Drainage improvement works is taken up by GHMC at 153 stagnation points
White-topping preferred to banish potholes

Indore DC asks NHAI, State officials to repair roads
In Madhya Pradesh, Indore Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey on August 2 issued instructions to the officers concerned to repair roads within a week. In a meeting with officers of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and State Highway at his office, Dubey said people are facing huge inconvenience on the roads. He issued strict instructions to repair roads including Lebad-Ghata Billod road, Indore-Pithampur Road, Dhar-Manawar Road, Rajgarh-Kukshi Road and Dewas-Indore Road.
