Reliance Infrastructure as¡k¡¡ed the union urban development ministry to upgrade feeder services and improve connectivity for the Airport Express Line. The company feels that better connectivity and improved feeder services for the Shivaji metro station, which also has a check-in facility for airport-bound commuters, would boost commuter traffic on the line.
Officials of Reliance Infra discussed this with their counterparts at the Union Urban Development Ministry recently. During the meeting, the concessionaire asked for assistance in streamlining the operations, including improving the feeder services.
The company is reportedly taking efforts to resume the check-in facility, which remains suspended even after the line reopened to public on January 22.
