449 MW Duggar power project allotted to NHPC
The decision of allotting Duggar hydro electric project with capacity of 449 MW in NHPC for a period of 70 years after completion of which the project will revert to the state government with specified generation capacity was taken at the cabinet meeting.

NHPC completes Teesta hydro project
State-run NHPC´s 160 MW Teesta Low Dam IV hydro project in Darjeeling has become fully operational. The 40 MW Unit-4 of the project has become commercially operational. Three units of the TLDP-IV project were commissioned on February 14, March 31 and July 1 this year.
Unit 1 of Parbati-III power station restored: NHPC
State-owned NHPC announced that Unit 1 of Parbati-III power station, which was shut down since March 28, 2015, has been restored. Located in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, the power station is a run-of-the-river scheme whose design discharge includes the diversion of the tail race releases of Parbati Stage-II Power house as well as inflows from river Sainj and Jiwa nallah.
