Banks borrowed Rs 185.02 bn via MSF on Oct 28: RBI
Agency reports say that banks borrowed Rs 185.02 billion ($3.01 billion) from the Reserve Bank of India's marginal standing facility (MSF) window on October 28, lower than the Rs 270.29 billion on October 25.

Gurgaon e-way toll up by Rs 60 lakh a month: NHAI

A fine of Rs 2.29 crore has been imposed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on road contractors who have failed to carry out pothole repairs on time in Mumbai city and have not maintained the standard quality of roads.
Banks go slow in lending loans to highway projects
Banks are slow and cautious while lending to road developers whereas the Union government is very keen on expediting road projects on a priority basis to revive growth. In the first half of the current financial year, banks have lent a total of Rs 550 crore to only five road projects.
Shiv Sena seeks stay on NMC bids for road works
Shiv Sena, the opposition party in the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), has moved the Bombay high court on October 28 against the decision of the NMC's decision to invite tenders for various road works worth Rs 330 crore through deferred payment.
