India to ease overseas flying norms to airlines

The Union government is to drop the condition of '5/20 rule' to Indian airlines by next November to fly on overseas routes. The government is to scrap the rule requiring airlines to fly on domestic routes for five years and to possess a fleet of at least 20 planes before launching overseas operations, say media reports.

The projects that have received Board sanction of the London arm on October 10 include GMRÂ’s power project at Chhattisgarh, the Shishir Bajaj GroupÂ’s power project at Lalitpur and the port component of the Pipavav project.

The objective of the tree planting is to form a fence to the highway, on which the number of accidents were rising in recent times, say media reports.
